Life after SPM isn's that great!!!

Indeed, I had longed for freedom for quite some time..
Not because I was been kidnapped or jailed..
it's SPM examination, one of the most important exam in malaysians life that
"locked" me in my room just to study and gave the best shot..
Now, when the time really comes,
and SPM is really a history,
my mind suddenly becomes blank..
I am like going through fermentation as
I have nothing to do....
but to stay home and watch television programmes or via net...
I realised that life after SPM isn't that great at all...
I start to miss my school life when I can have something meaningful to do...
Can anyone tell me how to spend my time!?

Global warming Or Global Warning?

Global warming,
is it just a word to describe a phenomenon?
or a word to remind us about our responsibilities?
Weather now is getting hotter and hotter,
what more for me who live in the region called "khatulistiwa"..
perhaps the weather is not as hot as it is in Afrika,
but who knows one day it will....
perhaps i can still "cool" myself down by eating a cup of ice-creams,
but can i still do that in the future?

For sure,
global warming is not just as simple as warming,
but it is a "warning" to all human mankind,
that our daily activities have caused much destruction to our nature..
after watching the latest National Geographic,
I start to realise the effects of global warming..

when you are reading this post,
you may not really understand the effects,
just as I was before,
But, now I can really feel it
I mean, I can really feel the effects of global warming...

Many times I was wondering why global warming is in the Biology syllabus,
but now I understand..
we all have to be taught the effects of global warming,
and on top of that,
we should all be given a chance to be involved
in all the anti-global wariming activities

let us all put our hands together
to help prevent global warimg,
with just a simple action of..
sharing vehicles,
despise open burning,
reduce the use of air-cons,etc
for our own sake,
and to save the Earth

Are you ready to answer a question
that may be asked by the generations
after a decade, or say a hundred years from now?

'What have you done to stop global warming?'

There's yet to come!!!!

Whosh, just completed my once in a lifetime SPM Mock Exam,
It was a harsh one as it lasted for almost a month.
But finally, it ended.

Thinking of relaxing,
is what I want to do now,
but don't know why I seem to be uneasy for doing so..
maybe because the REAL SPM is just one month away,
though it seems to be quite a long time,
but to fully revise all the 11 subjects,
it's just not enough...

At the moment,
I'm also worrying about my mock results,
especially the Chinese..
But I have true faith in God that if I have tried my best,
Blessings will always be with me...
O Lord, give me faith and wisdom,
no matter what I got for my mock....
push me harder so that I'll pull up my socks and continue striking for SPM...

Anyway, I really thank lord for blessing me with wisdom that I got distinction in both English and Mathematics New South Wales Australia Competition..
Hope this will be of help in my coming SPM and most importantly my future..

Miserable Holiday..

Time flew away just like that,
without waiting for us even a second,
when I was about to go for my physics tuition,
I suddenly realised that one week of holiday was about to come to an end,
but I felt as if I was doing nothing for the past few days,
except chatting and playing friends for sales in the facebook,
and went out playing badminton with friends, which I think, was the only activity that benefited me to be in the pink and perhaps fitter.
Of course, tuition was the following routine which I have to go through almost everyday,
except weekends.

Before the holidays, I was longing for holidays..
Yet, when holidays arrived, I was not prepared for it..
I did not know how to really enjoy my holidays, and use it wisely...

SPM was just around the corner..
I should have started my revision..
but apparently I did not..
I just did not have the mood to revise,
but at the same time,
I felt so worried since I was not serious enough when I was in Form 4,
and there were lots to be done to be really prepared for the SPM..
I was in a dilemma,
as well as so confused with myself..

Can anyone motivate me?
Or perhaps you are in the same boat as me?

Feeling so miserable.............

Facebook

Hmm.. I just signed up to the big family of facebook...
though it is actually quite late for me to do so...
I'll probably upload most of my photos there as compared to my blog...
for those who have already joined facebook...do add me and buy me as ur pet..
erm, I mean in the facebook, not in real world...haha..
because I'm not prepared to bark or 'miao" yet..hihi

Teachers' Day Celebration

Me, Han Nee, Felicia, Amy, Karen and Alex taking a shot in front ot the big "blackboard"..

Whoo...it was indeed an amazing day...the performances were much better than previous.
frankly, not only do the teachers enjoyed the day, we as students were in the same boat as well..
Thus, I would like to thumb up for Dr. Lau it was her idea to have an audition before the rehearsal..Also, I would like to thank all the prefects and students for their efforts in making the celebration a success...

As the master of ceremony for today's celebration, I realised that I had became more experienced than before...I was not nervous as I did before after becoming emcees for many occasions except a bit worried since the script was just written this morning, which was less than an hour before the ceremony commenced. Here, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Karen, Felicia, Dr. Lau and some other chinese teachers for helping me in the script, alongside the experiences that I gained all these while.

Now I do not think it is necessary for me to describe the whole celebration because I'm sure most of my friends will post on the event. I will just upload one picture since most pictures are still with Felicia. I'll try get it from her as soon as possible.

*Felicia, do send me the photos when you see this. Thanks!!

Finally...I'm free again!!!

Hello, guys...i feel really sorry for not updating my blog for...erm, let's see...
oh my gosh..more than one month!
Well, the reason is simple, i don't have sufficient time to do so...pls do forgive me...
Tonight, i'm just like an escaped bird which has been locked in a cage for ages..
no more tension and worries about the exam, at the moment...
Though i'll sure suffer undescridable pain when the school reopen since i'll be getting my results by then.

Oh ya...there's a good news to be announced ( though it may be too late to spread the news )
Kuching High Team has crowned the Interchapter First Aid Competition...
Thus, Fabian, Edmund, Eleen, Tan Yee and I will be representing Sarawak for the National Level First Aid Competition which will be held on 29 May till 31 May in Negeri Sembilan...
However, this also means that my team members and I will have to spend quite a lot of time to practise and enhance our first aid skills before going for the competition...
That's also why i feel so stressed since the exam ends at 28 May...resulting in us having to squeeze our precious revision time to come to school for practice..

Until the second week of the exam, which was on thursday, i suppose,
fabian texted me, telling me that the competition had been postponed due to swine flu..
I almost hit the roof when i knew it because we had been spending a lot precious revision time for the practise and yet, they suddenly postponed the competition...

I'm wondering why don't they inform us earlier so that we could really concentrate on our preparation for the exam...And yesterday i just got informed that the competiton will probably be held in August, which is two months before the real SPM exam...I'm once again very worried...
But, what can I do other than to keep my fingers crossed?

I'm back with a cockroach story!!!

Hello guyz, just a day after coming back from the 30 hour famine
and for sure I got a lot to share.
It was not easy to drink only water for 30 hours without any intake of solid food,
but I did it and I gained lots of nice and unforgetable experience in the 30 hour famine camp..
But, now I am very tired and really want to get a good rest.

Also, today I am very sad with my results since I got 2 Bs in Physics and Chemistry and it is just a few marks to A, so now I am feeling very depressed, desperate, speechless......
But I will sure blog on the 30 Hour Famine soon.
Please do wait for it with patience, thank you.

However, I do have something interesting to share at the moment...
It happened during my English tuition this afternoon,
when Wei Lin brought in a cockroach with her without knowing and
the cockroach suddenly flew to my trousers.

"What!" , I screamed when Wei Lin yelled at me and at the same time pointing at my trousers.
Oh my gosh! It was really appaling to see a cockroach on my trousers...
I quickly slapped it away and it flew to the floor, which later made our class to a state of ruckus.

All poeple pulled thier legs up to the chair lest the cockroach climbed to their legs, especially Manfred and Eleen whom I was just in time to take the photo..haha

Of course it included others like Wei Lin and Winnie.
Luckily, Sui Chin was absent, if not, she would surely be the one who screamed the loudest..haha..

The chaos finally ended when the cockroach flew out of the class when our teacher opened the door. Guess what? Madam Ting asked her maid to catch it instead of herselves to do it, which then caused the class to turn into a laughter.

That's all. I hoped you guyz enjoyed the story with some pictures attached.
Till then, wish you all the best in the results you get.
God Bless!!

Waiting For Results

Holiday is about to come to an end. I, who is usually a cheerful and carefree person, have had a long face for days now. The first mid-term exam is quite difficult for me who always do my revision at the eleventh hour and I think that I may have come a cropper in them. I have been by hook or by crook try to take my mind off the exam results, but still I am a bit worried.

Fortunately, I am joining the 30 Hour Famine tomorrow. Thus, I will sure be able to put the results behind my mind within that period and to experience hunger and deprivation that the poor are facing since I will be fasting for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that impoverished children and families endure everyday.

Because of that, I will be unable to update my blog for about 2 days. But, I will sure share with you all my experience during the 30 Hour Famine Camp when I am back. I believe that I can also upload some photos by then since I am bringing along my camera. Do pray for me......

I passed my Driving Law Exam!!!

Yahoo! I passed my driving law exam with 50 out of 50 questions...haha
actually i did not expect to have answered all the questions correctly.
This is due to the fact that Ah Poh had failed 3 times consecutively, so I thought it would be quite tough...
but one of my buddies, Zhi Yong also not bad since he was only one question behind me...
then came to Nana who scored 47 out of 50...
but sad to say, Chia Yin left behind 2 questions to passing marks...
gambateh Chia Yin, I'm sure that you would pass for the coming re-exam.
After that, me and Zhi Yong who were on cloud nine when to "lim teh" at the kopitian downstairs.
I "chia" Zhi Yong drinks and he "chia" me mee mamak,
which i had never try before.
Well, actually it taste quite nice but I had difficulty of eating it since I had an ulcer in my mouth, which was quite painful when I tried to consume something,
what to say Mee Mamak which was spicy.
Then, we went to the Spring shopping centre for window shopping as our "sifu" was so busy that he would only come and fetch us in an hour time..wow..that long!!!
Zhi Yong was just enough time to buy a new stainless steel necklace when our "sifu" phoned me, telling me that he was already outside the Spring.
Then, I urged him to fetch me to the Star Ciniplex since my movie will start at noon and the time on my watch was about 20 minutes to twelve.
Luckily, I arrived at the ciniplex before the movie start
(actually Amy and shao jun were also late though Karen and Felicia were earlier)...
then the movie commenced...."Xing Fu Wang Xui"...
Well, the movie was on my point of view,
not suitable for underage since it was mostly about the "sex" thing..haha...
of course not the real action,
also I did not think that X-rated movie would be shown in Malaysia cinema...haha..
must HALAL...It was actually quite a nice movie and at times there were scenes that makes us laughed as most Singapore Movie did...

Law...Law...Law...

Today is a miserable day for me.
I have time to write this post because I have just completed the 500 forecast questions for the driving law test.
Now my mind is full of road signs and driving laws.
I got to remain them in my small brain since tomorrow I am going to sit for the exam.
Even though many insisted that it is a very easy test, but still, I feel a bit worried whether or not I would fail the exam with a total score of less than 42 out of 50.
Looks like I just have to keep my fingers cross so that I can pass the exam.
Otherwise, I will have to waste extra RM30 to resit for it.
By the way, something coincidence happen this afternoon because I have got to know that Zhi Yong is also sitting for his driving law exam tomorrow, and to my surprise, we are both having the same "sifu", which means we will going to the exam ground together without early planning since our "sifu" will be fetching us tomorrow about the same time in the morning.
Well, wish you all the best too, Zhi Yong!
Also not forgetting Fiona and Chia Yin who are going to sit for it as well tomorrow morning.
I hope we can all pass the exam, sure we can!

footprints

now 12.51am
still cannot fall asleep
so i just take out a book which i have neglected for ages
it is a present from my sister
a poem inside really touched me
just as how its beautiful book cover have attracted me to read it...

One night i dreamed a dream
I was walking alone the beach with my lord
Across the dark sky flashes scenes from my life
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand
one belonging to me and one to my lord
When the last scene of my life shot before me
I looked back at the footprints in the sand
and to my surprise
I noticed that many times along the path of my life
there was only one set of footprints
I realised that this was at the lowest
and saddest times of my life
This always bothered me
and I questioned the lord about my dilemma

"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow you
You would walk and talk with me all the way
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
times of my life there is only one set of footprints
I just don't understand why, when I needed you most
You leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child
I love you and will never leave you
never, ever, during your trials and testings
When you saw only one set of footprints
it was then that I carried you."
Yes, Lord.
Thank you for carrying me all these while
Console me when I'm down
Ease my mind when I felt frustrated
Provide me strength to face the challenges of tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow
Bless me with a healthy mind and soul
And most importantly,
Love me more than anything else...
I LOVE YOU TOO, MY LORD!!!

Driving Law is really boring!!!

Today, I went to listen the driving law talk for about 5 hours...
Me,David Yong,Ah Tieng,Shirley,Tchii and Chang Wei almost fell asleep..
Really crazy...we had to pay RM 130 for that stupid talk, which i think was not necessary...haha..because all the information was provided in the book..
during lunch time, we were all having new experience of eating in an open sauna...
we were steaming hot and even with a big fan provided..it was actually making thing worse since all the hot air was blown towards us..
I ordered a plate of Cha Kueh Tiaw which cost me RM3.50 but really not enough for me...But what to do? The cooked meat and vegetables were all exposed to flies..yucks..disgusting...who dares to eat that and had a stomachache...
after that, we went back to the lecture room again and continued our talk..
Unexpected, our lecturer changed to a malay-look chinese lecture who wore a shirt which was too big for him, causing him to look quite funny..
Then the way he talk olso so funny that i felt even "cooler" in an air-conditioned room...hmm...the talk ended at 3 something and we were feeling great about it since we finally completed the requirement of joining the 5 hours boring talk...
Now, the coming task is to study and pass the exam...42/50 is considered pass..i think i can achieve that by just doing the 500 questions in the yellow book.. haha...hope so...anyway, i'm glad that the talk finally endded...

The two books that i have to study for the law exam...quite thin as compared to pure sciences reference books...isn't it?

Snakes in Kuching High?

i still remembered last thursday, the day when i sit for my additional mathematics paper... my weakest subject....
before we all start our exam, as usual i had to come early to school to carry out my duty as a prefect...
At fist, i went to school with hope, wishing to improve in my add mx paper this time..
but...who knows? when me and felicia were on our way to the back gate...we saw a snake about 2 metres long in the sliding drain beside the long stairs that was joined to the canteen which we all called it "tangga hijau"...just a few seconds after that, Mr Andrew were there also...
he quickly called somebody whom i think should be the principal, Mr Ivor Lim who came later..
when he was engaging with his phone, i suddenly screamed at him because the snake suddenly slided down the drain to the canteen where he was standing at that very moment..
he was shocked too when he heard me and quickly ran to the other side..
then the tragedy began.........
of course, it's not a tragedy of Mr Andrew being bitten by the snake..
but a tragedy of a snake being hit to death by Mr Andrew using the long bench at the school canteen....
the fisrt hit missed but the second hit was on its tail..this is then followed a hit at the middle part of its body with the blood coming out and the last two hits were on its hand...isn't it cruel for a snake to die in such a way? and of course Mr Andrew became the hero...but who will dare to use the bench again..haha..
after that, all the students who were watching at the scene as well went back to their respective classes and we started our exam...
perhaps it not a good sign to see a snake...am i too superstitious? haha
because i did not know how to tackle a lot of questions in the add mx paper...hope i could at least pass...
However, the SPM results were released on that day as well and 33 straight As student were born on that day..haha...and others passed their exam with flyinbg colours as well...congratulation..highians!!!Maybe i shouldn't be so superstitious and be sure that i can obtain good results as well in this exam...i hope it's true...haha

I am becoming immobiled!!

waa..just came back from badminton friendly match..
now feel aching here and there...
almost cannot move and becoming immobiled...
haiz...what to do?
a person like me who seldom play badminton so vigorously is participating in a competition le..
and the oppenents are so professional and they look so serious, unlike me who look more relax..
With my limited skills and training, i was beated at the first match for the male single, beated by a profesional badminton player who train everyday...
gush..the poinit is 21-5 and 21-6..haha..
but me and Michelle were lucky enough to partipate in the quarterfinal for the mixed double..a nice experience...
but the experience is paid by me aching here and there, especially my right hand and both legs...
hmm..even though i was unable to enter the semifinal in both categories...i still felt contented (i was playing badminton for the whole day in a badminton court free of charge)...it's better to be optimist!!
Actually it's good that i did not enter the semifinal which will be held tomorrow so that i can go and listen the law for driving...haha
Should always live our lives to the fullest...don't u think so?

Wanna go or not?

I was indeed happy when fabian told me that i was chosen to participate in the interchapter first aid competition...it was indeed an honour even though it was not confirmed yet...because me and fabian still have to compete with other school first..
But, i'm in a dilemma now whether to go or not...
and will my parents allow me to join this competition?
haiz...this reminds me of the poem "The Road NOt Taken"studied in F4...
Well, looks like i have to wait till i get the full details about the competition..
then i can MAKE A DECISION....if not...what else can be done?

Hope she will have a good rest and quickly recover...
even though this means that i'll definitely have my tuition replaced this saturday..haha...dear frenz..
Let us pray for Miss Lim so that she can recover swiftly...

p/s why now so many people are getting sick ar? This reminds me of one of my classmate who always sneezes loudly in class..erm..to be frank, it sounds like a car starting its engine(vroom..vroom...) or an elephant in anger(u sure can imagine that)..even though it's quite annoying but we sure have a big laugh of it..it's not intentionally but we just can control ourselves...(at this very minute, once again i cannot control myself ...hahahahahah)

~pls drink more water and take good care of yourself, friends!!!

Waa..my first experience on Epilepsi

When i was busy tackling the add mx question at mrs wee tuition class, suddenly
"David, fast!! someone is having 'sawan'..go and help up.."
shouted Dawson as i'm a red crescent member of the school.
However, i just sit and smile with him because i thought he's joking..
but after getting the confirmation.. i quickly went to the room.
it was indeed my first experience to see a person shaking as if she was driving a motorbike(with her pen on her hand)..this is what dawson say...haha
her eyes was as big as golden fish's eyes..
so,i just ask people to get far away from her and let her rest there...
when i saw eric putting the handkerchief into her mouth..
i quickly ask him to get it out..
because she will face breathing problems n even die..
but eric failed to do so because she was already biting the handkerchief..
later, we brought her to teacher's room to rest till her parents came..
guess what? when i ask her did she know what happened just now and where she is..
she say no...just like waking up from long dreams..
and eric was even "scolded" by teacher for putting the handkerchief into her mouth
when she was told by the girl's parents that it was wrong..she might die because of that..eric felt sad n sorry about it..this make me think of a chinese informal sayings" kiang du hor, mai ge kiang"..haha..
anyway, i'm glad that nothing bad happen to the girl..thank god!!
this was indeed an unforgetable add mx tuition..haha
