I'm back with a cockroach story!!!

Hello guyz, just a day after coming back from the 30 hour famine
and for sure I got a lot to share.
It was not easy to drink only water for 30 hours without any intake of solid food,
but I did it and I gained lots of nice and unforgetable experience in the 30 hour famine camp..
But, now I am very tired and really want to get a good rest.

Also, today I am very sad with my results since I got 2 Bs in Physics and Chemistry and it is just a few marks to A, so now I am feeling very depressed, desperate, speechless......
But I will sure blog on the 30 Hour Famine soon.
Please do wait for it with patience, thank you.

However, I do have something interesting to share at the moment...
It happened during my English tuition this afternoon,
when Wei Lin brought in a cockroach with her without knowing and
the cockroach suddenly flew to my trousers.

"What!" , I screamed when Wei Lin yelled at me and at the same time pointing at my trousers.
Oh my gosh! It was really appaling to see a cockroach on my trousers...
I quickly slapped it away and it flew to the floor, which later made our class to a state of ruckus.

All poeple pulled thier legs up to the chair lest the cockroach climbed to their legs, especially Manfred and Eleen whom I was just in time to take the photo..haha

Of course it included others like Wei Lin and Winnie.
Luckily, Sui Chin was absent, if not, she would surely be the one who screamed the loudest..haha..

The chaos finally ended when the cockroach flew out of the class when our teacher opened the door. Guess what? Madam Ting asked her maid to catch it instead of herselves to do it, which then caused the class to turn into a laughter.

That's all. I hoped you guyz enjoyed the story with some pictures attached.
Till then, wish you all the best in the results you get.
God Bless!!

Waiting For Results

Holiday is about to come to an end. I, who is usually a cheerful and carefree person, have had a long face for days now. The first mid-term exam is quite difficult for me who always do my revision at the eleventh hour and I think that I may have come a cropper in them. I have been by hook or by crook try to take my mind off the exam results, but still I am a bit worried.

Fortunately, I am joining the 30 Hour Famine tomorrow. Thus, I will sure be able to put the results behind my mind within that period and to experience hunger and deprivation that the poor are facing since I will be fasting for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that impoverished children and families endure everyday.

Because of that, I will be unable to update my blog for about 2 days. But, I will sure share with you all my experience during the 30 Hour Famine Camp when I am back. I believe that I can also upload some photos by then since I am bringing along my camera. Do pray for me......

I passed my Driving Law Exam!!!

Yahoo! I passed my driving law exam with 50 out of 50 questions...haha
actually i did not expect to have answered all the questions correctly.
This is due to the fact that Ah Poh had failed 3 times consecutively, so I thought it would be quite tough...
but one of my buddies, Zhi Yong also not bad since he was only one question behind me...
then came to Nana who scored 47 out of 50...
but sad to say, Chia Yin left behind 2 questions to passing marks...
gambateh Chia Yin, I'm sure that you would pass for the coming re-exam.
After that, me and Zhi Yong who were on cloud nine when to "lim teh" at the kopitian downstairs.
I "chia" Zhi Yong drinks and he "chia" me mee mamak,
which i had never try before.
Well, actually it taste quite nice but I had difficulty of eating it since I had an ulcer in my mouth, which was quite painful when I tried to consume something,
what to say Mee Mamak which was spicy.
Then, we went to the Spring shopping centre for window shopping as our "sifu" was so busy that he would only come and fetch us in an hour time..wow..that long!!!
Zhi Yong was just enough time to buy a new stainless steel necklace when our "sifu" phoned me, telling me that he was already outside the Spring.
Then, I urged him to fetch me to the Star Ciniplex since my movie will start at noon and the time on my watch was about 20 minutes to twelve.
Luckily, I arrived at the ciniplex before the movie start
(actually Amy and shao jun were also late though Karen and Felicia were earlier)...
then the movie commenced...."Xing Fu Wang Xui"...
Well, the movie was on my point of view,
not suitable for underage since it was mostly about the "sex" thing..haha...
of course not the real action,
also I did not think that X-rated movie would be shown in Malaysia cinema...haha..
must HALAL...It was actually quite a nice movie and at times there were scenes that makes us laughed as most Singapore Movie did...

Law...Law...Law...

Today is a miserable day for me.
I have time to write this post because I have just completed the 500 forecast questions for the driving law test.
Now my mind is full of road signs and driving laws.
I got to remain them in my small brain since tomorrow I am going to sit for the exam.
Even though many insisted that it is a very easy test, but still, I feel a bit worried whether or not I would fail the exam with a total score of less than 42 out of 50.
Looks like I just have to keep my fingers cross so that I can pass the exam.
Otherwise, I will have to waste extra RM30 to resit for it.
By the way, something coincidence happen this afternoon because I have got to know that Zhi Yong is also sitting for his driving law exam tomorrow, and to my surprise, we are both having the same "sifu", which means we will going to the exam ground together without early planning since our "sifu" will be fetching us tomorrow about the same time in the morning.
Well, wish you all the best too, Zhi Yong!
Also not forgetting Fiona and Chia Yin who are going to sit for it as well tomorrow morning.
I hope we can all pass the exam, sure we can!

footprints

now 12.51am
still cannot fall asleep
so i just take out a book which i have neglected for ages
it is a present from my sister
a poem inside really touched me
just as how its beautiful book cover have attracted me to read it...

One night i dreamed a dream
I was walking alone the beach with my lord
Across the dark sky flashes scenes from my life
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand
one belonging to me and one to my lord
When the last scene of my life shot before me
I looked back at the footprints in the sand
and to my surprise
I noticed that many times along the path of my life
there was only one set of footprints
I realised that this was at the lowest
and saddest times of my life
This always bothered me
and I questioned the lord about my dilemma

"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow you
You would walk and talk with me all the way
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
times of my life there is only one set of footprints
I just don't understand why, when I needed you most
You leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child
I love you and will never leave you
never, ever, during your trials and testings
When you saw only one set of footprints
it was then that I carried you."
Yes, Lord.
Thank you for carrying me all these while
Console me when I'm down
Ease my mind when I felt frustrated
Provide me strength to face the challenges of tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow
Bless me with a healthy mind and soul
And most importantly,
Love me more than anything else...
I LOVE YOU TOO, MY LORD!!!

Driving Law is really boring!!!

Today, I went to listen the driving law talk for about 5 hours...
Me,David Yong,Ah Tieng,Shirley,Tchii and Chang Wei almost fell asleep..
Really crazy...we had to pay RM 130 for that stupid talk, which i think was not necessary...haha..because all the information was provided in the book..
during lunch time, we were all having new experience of eating in an open sauna...
we were steaming hot and even with a big fan provided..it was actually making thing worse since all the hot air was blown towards us..
I ordered a plate of Cha Kueh Tiaw which cost me RM3.50 but really not enough for me...But what to do? The cooked meat and vegetables were all exposed to flies..yucks..disgusting...who dares to eat that and had a stomachache...
after that, we went back to the lecture room again and continued our talk..
Unexpected, our lecturer changed to a malay-look chinese lecture who wore a shirt which was too big for him, causing him to look quite funny..
Then the way he talk olso so funny that i felt even "cooler" in an air-conditioned room...hmm...the talk ended at 3 something and we were feeling great about it since we finally completed the requirement of joining the 5 hours boring talk...
Now, the coming task is to study and pass the exam...42/50 is considered pass..i think i can achieve that by just doing the 500 questions in the yellow book.. haha...hope so...anyway, i'm glad that the talk finally endded...

The two books that i have to study for the law exam...quite thin as compared to pure sciences reference books...isn't it?

Snakes in Kuching High?

i still remembered last thursday, the day when i sit for my additional mathematics paper... my weakest subject....
before we all start our exam, as usual i had to come early to school to carry out my duty as a prefect...
At fist, i went to school with hope, wishing to improve in my add mx paper this time..
but...who knows? when me and felicia were on our way to the back gate...we saw a snake about 2 metres long in the sliding drain beside the long stairs that was joined to the canteen which we all called it "tangga hijau"...just a few seconds after that, Mr Andrew were there also...
he quickly called somebody whom i think should be the principal, Mr Ivor Lim who came later..
when he was engaging with his phone, i suddenly screamed at him because the snake suddenly slided down the drain to the canteen where he was standing at that very moment..
he was shocked too when he heard me and quickly ran to the other side..
then the tragedy began.........
of course, it's not a tragedy of Mr Andrew being bitten by the snake..
but a tragedy of a snake being hit to death by Mr Andrew using the long bench at the school canteen....
the fisrt hit missed but the second hit was on its tail..this is then followed a hit at the middle part of its body with the blood coming out and the last two hits were on its hand...isn't it cruel for a snake to die in such a way? and of course Mr Andrew became the hero...but who will dare to use the bench again..haha..
after that, all the students who were watching at the scene as well went back to their respective classes and we started our exam...
perhaps it not a good sign to see a snake...am i too superstitious? haha
because i did not know how to tackle a lot of questions in the add mx paper...hope i could at least pass...
However, the SPM results were released on that day as well and 33 straight As student were born on that day..haha...and others passed their exam with flyinbg colours as well...congratulation..highians!!!Maybe i shouldn't be so superstitious and be sure that i can obtain good results as well in this exam...i hope it's true...haha

I am becoming immobiled!!

waa..just came back from badminton friendly match..
now feel aching here and there...
almost cannot move and becoming immobiled...
haiz...what to do?
a person like me who seldom play badminton so vigorously is participating in a competition le..
and the oppenents are so professional and they look so serious, unlike me who look more relax..
With my limited skills and training, i was beated at the first match for the male single, beated by a profesional badminton player who train everyday...
gush..the poinit is 21-5 and 21-6..haha..
but me and Michelle were lucky enough to partipate in the quarterfinal for the mixed double..a nice experience...
but the experience is paid by me aching here and there, especially my right hand and both legs...
hmm..even though i was unable to enter the semifinal in both categories...i still felt contented (i was playing badminton for the whole day in a badminton court free of charge)...it's better to be optimist!!
Actually it's good that i did not enter the semifinal which will be held tomorrow so that i can go and listen the law for driving...haha
Should always live our lives to the fullest...don't u think so?
